Abstract

Background: The clinical manifestations of AMAG are diverse and easily overlooked. The exact diagnostic criteria for AMAG are yet to be standardized, and serological tests lack clinical practices.
Methods: This case report demonstrates the process of searching for etiologic agents in a patient with PA.
Results: Serological tests showed positive APCAs, decreased serum pepsinogen (PG)I, decreased PGI/PGII ratio, and increased serum gastrin (GAS). After supplementation with hematopoietic raw materials such as vitamin B12 and folic acid, the patient recovered well.
Conclusions: This case report demonstrates a better exploration of serological diagnostic strategies for AMAG.
